Senior Project day 5
Today was a very busy day! Cope and I woke up at 3:45 to hike up Kearsarge at sunrise. It was really beautiful, and inspired some new painting ideas! We got back home and slept for a little bit, and then I sat down to paint for a while in our sunroom. I also made some watercolor name tags for our dinner table in preparation for my grandfather's birthday meal on Sunday. In the afternoon I went into campus and worked in the studio for a few hours. I glazed some of my small pinch pots and then made a few vases and a couple bowls. After I finished cleaning up, I went to New London to get a birthday gift for my friend and saw some really cute tiny cards in Morgan Hill Bookstore, which was fun to see because I would love to do something just like that. Once I got back from New London, my family went and saw my cousin Grace perform in the musical "Matilda". Tomorrow I am planning on getting a lot of hours in, working in the studio and finishing my paper - and, in other exciting news, my printer came today! I'm very excited to start experimenting with making prints this weekend.
